Rubit! Dog ID Tag Clip: Review

I want to start by saying I still haven't found my camera! And since all my pics from the last two weeks, including the ones I wanted to use on this review, are on it, I had to improvise and take some pics today with my moms camera. Didn't help that Buddy was in a bouncy mood, and have I mentioned the camera sucks? *Sigh* I'll probably buy a new one, but until then, enjoy the low-quality, discolored, blurry photos.

A week ago today, Buddy got a package in the mail--His Rubit! I was excited to try it out, having heard great things, and I was not disappointed.

First of all, it makes switching collars, or simply taking the tags off for whatever reason (Personally, I don't leave tags on in the crate) super easy. For the first time in a long time, I actually got to paint my nails without having to redo them every morning! Also, even though I've only had the Rubit! clip for a week, it's held up very well with Buddy's rough and tumble play, even when he was hiking with me or splashing around in his little swimming pool. That certainly won my favor. And did I mention that customer service is totally pawesome?

I did notice that the key ring that came on it seemed a bit flimsy, and having heard of people nearly losing their tags, I decided to forgo the risk and switch it right off.

Bonus, the tags always face forward!

Pros

  • Easy to switch collars
  • Saves your nails
  • Durable--even for large, active dogs
  • Reasonably priced
  • Good customer service

Cons
  • Key ring it comes with is a little unreliable--easily fixed.

All in all, Buddy and I give Rubit! Dog Tag Clip five out five treats! Head on over and tell 'em Buddy sent you!

  1. I'm glad I'm not the only one who constantly had to redo their nails!
